Problem - My scooter is not working at all.
Answer- Check the fuse and replace with a new one.
Problem - My scooter is not working at all.
Answer- We have a safety kill switch built into the brake handle. During shipment the safety switch sometimes becomes engaged. Simply loosen up the brake adjustment just a little on the handle bar by turning the brake adjuster on the brake handle in towards the brake handle. This will loosen the tension on the adjustment and safety switch and your scooter will start to work perfectly. Test the safety switch by putting your scooter on a bench so the rear wheel is not contacting the ground to prevent an accident, then follow the wires coming out of the brake handle down under the foot plate, look on the left side of the battery's under the foot plate and you will find those wires plugged into a plug. Simply unplug those wires marked Brake, then twist the throttle with the switch turned on and the rear wheel will start to spin. This is a good way to eliminate the safety switch as being the problem. Make sure you plug the safety switch back in after doing this test to prevent future accidents while riding the scooter and check the brakes to make sure they are properly tightened.
Problem - My fuse is blowing out often.
Answer- Check the fuse to make sure it is a 30 AMP fuse that you have installed. Any thing less than 30 AMPS and the fuse may blow. The fuse is located under the battery cover in an orange or red fuse holder. Turn off the key to the scooter. Pull the fuse out of the rubber fuse holder. Look at the center of the fuse through the plastic, if the metal fuse inside is broken and burnt, simply replace the fuse with a 30 AMP fuse. This fuse is a standard automotive type fuse and you can get a replacement at any auto parts store.
Problem - I replaced the fuse and the scooter still does not work.
Answer- If the battery is charged and the key has been checked to make sure it is in the on position and all of the wiring looks normal it is possible that the controller unit has gone out. The controller unit can be easily replaced by contacting our tech support team via Email. The above possible problems are the only problems we have had with the Electric Scooters and we have had only a very few of these problems. If you experience any other problems please e-mail our support team. Make sure you have the serial number of your scooter written down and ready for our support team member.
